Zebra Rug Makes Debut at Geoffrey Bradfield’s “The Big Five” Tapestry Exhibition

Designer Kyle Bunting proudly unveils his new Zebra Hide Rug at the opening of “The Big
Five Tapestries Exhibition by Geoffrey Bradfield”. The exhibition, which is presented by
Geoffrey Bradfield and Sebastian + Baroquet, will run September 21- October 1, 2011
at Steuben’s flagship location in New York City.

Bunting will have two of his Zebra Hide Rugs on show during the exhibition. Each Zebra
Rug is a handmade decorative floor covering in a customized zebra pattern, constructed
entirely in hide. There are over 70 colors to chose from, allowing for full custom
capabilities in both color palette and sizing. Naturally, the Zebra Rugs on show at the
exhibition will be featured in black and cream.

“Geoffrey Bradfield is one of the world’s foremost designers, but he’s also one of our
favorite clients. I had the Zebra design in development for years and this just seemed
like the perfect opportunity to introduce it. I am not only excited to support him, but
encourage everyone to come and see this exhibition. It is really going to be something
special,” comments Bunting.

The Zebra Rug provides a more flexible design solution for designers and decorators
who prefer to work with sustainable materials. The Zebra Rug is a better alternative as
it provides a modern and updated zebra look without using actual zebra hides, which
are often inconsistent in coloring and not sustainable.

The “Big 5” refers to the African elephant, lion, rhinoceros, leopard and Cape buffalo,
which are the most ferocious and difficult to capture for game hunters and also the
favored animals to see on safari. These animals will be featured in Bradfield’s tapestry
designs, which will be available for purchase through Sebastian + Baroquet.

A percentage of the proceeds from the exhibition sales will benefit the Hoedspruit
Endangered Species Centre, an organization that focuses on the conservation of rare,
vulnerable and endangered animals.
