Kyle Bunting Featured with Philippe Starck’s New Line

Kyle Bunting | 3:27 pm | March 26, 2008 | Showroom News

David Sutherland’s Los Angeles showroom recently unveiled the RobinWood Deluxe Collection, a new line of furniture designed by Philippe Starck for Sutherland Teak. David Sutherland, being our exclusive representative in the Los Angeles area, asked Kyle Bunting to specifically design some custom hide rugs that would be featured with Philippe Starck’s new collection. We were honored to collaborate.

The photographs below show parts of the new RobinWood Deluxe display, with our custom-shaped hide rugs in Cream, some also with a Carrot cross (Philippe Starck’s logo), accenting the furniture.

Kyle Bunting hide rugs are featured in a Houston Chronicle Home Design article by Maggie Galehouse.

“Cowhides have a natural appeal. No matter the size or color, each is unique. Some say that the appeal of animal skin is as old as civilization itself.”
